The pole locator's indicator light is a high-brightness neon light, easily visible in any lighting conditions.

It measures the voltage in electrical outlets (AC voltage 100 - 250v) and distinguishes between phase and neutral, and whether it is properly connected, thanks to its neon light.

Pole locators allow you to know if an electric current is flowing in a conduit, that is, to determine the so-called "live pole" in an electrical installation or in an electrical circuit.

It can also be used to determine whether a conductor cable is live or not.
